Will iOS 15 stop me syncing Contacts & Calendar with Outlook 2019?

I use iTunes to sync the contacts and calendar in Outlook (the Windows program that is part of Office 2019 *NOT* the cloud email service).

My iPhone is still on iOS 14.8.1 and I have iTunes 12.11.3.17.

I absolutely *cannot* lose the ability to sync contacts and calendars via iTunes.

iTunes has been warning me that this feature is deprecated and will be removed in a future version.

Does anyone know if it’s the iTunes update or the iOS update that removes this feature or if it still works on iOS 15.1 and iTunes 12.12.2.2 (which I think is the latest).

Windows, Windows 10

I found an old iPhone SE and updated it to iOS 15.1 and after creating a system restore point on Windows 10 I updated iTunes to the latest version.

I’m pleased to say that Contacts and Calendar syncing *still* works.

So I don’t know if/when Apple will, stupidly and unnecessarily, remove this functionality but it currently still works.
