Next, I enter my current Apple ID enter my phone number, SMS code.

Next, they require a recovery code from me, which I do not know.

If the item was downloaded with a different account, you will need to log in with that account.

If you changed your email address on your account, please click on this link and read "What to do after [or before] you change your Apple ID [email address] or password" ➔ https://support.apple.com/HT204071 - "After you change your Apple ID email address or password, you might need to update your sign-in information with any Apple services you're using." - Or if you're seeing persistent disabled messages or repeated requests for the password to your previous Apple ID. You may also wish to turn off "Find My" before changing information and turn it on again afterward.

Hi,

If this issue only occurs when trying to update the app, it means that the app was originally downloaded to the device with a different Apple ID signed in.

To resolve this issue, delete the app and reinstall it.

When you redownload the app, it will download associated to the Apple ID currently signed into the device.

Hope this helps!
