how do i access my text message history
i need to access my text message history and print it out. is there anyway i can do this?

There is no text message history, unless you’ve manually kept one somewhere yourself. The only messages you can access are the ones currently saved on your device. And Apple has nothing to do with your SMS/MMS messages sent and received through your cellular service provider.
Text messages are not remotely like email. There is no trash folder for deleted items nor is their any history or record kept of past and now deleted messages. Text message servers purge messages as soon as they are sent/received.
