Restoring iPhone from a backup on Mac is pretty straightforward.
• Connect the iPhone to the Mac
• Select the iPhone in side bar of a Finder window. If iPhone doesn't display in the side bar, check Finder > Preferences > General tab and ensure that Show iOS Devices is checked.
• Select Restore Backup
• Select the appropriate dated backup
• Click Restore
