hi, is it better to put my Imac 24” to sleep if i leave it off for only a few hours? how should i turn off my imac properly if i use it many times a day?
I simply blank my screen by putting thecomputer in sleep mode and have the screen shut off in my screen saver options. Traditionally restarting a computer was always the hardest part of it's life but that is less true of a machine like the new M1 Macs, like yours. Basically it's your choice. I like the convenience of coming back to the computer and hitting any key and having it fully booted up. Many users only turn off their Macs once a week or less.
