How do I play one of my custom playlists?

I linked Apple Music to my Google home, but it won’t play my playlists that I curated.

Welcome Dantepepp,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you can't play Apple Music playlists on your Google Home device. We'll do our best to assist with this.

We would begin by isolating this behavior further. Do you have any other devices connected to Apple Music? If so, are you able to access and playback these curated playlists on all of these other devices?

If you haven't yet, we'd restart all devices using Apple Music to make sure a simple reboot doesn't solve the issue.

You can also try to remove your Apple Music account from Google Home and then add it back again to test it out: Play Apple Music on your Google Nest speaker or display

Hoping to hear back, take care.

Hey Dantepepp,

It sounds like you've worked through the suggestions, but you still can't play your playlists created in Apple Music on your Google Home device.

At this point, we'd isolate this a bit further. Are you able to playback content curated by Apple? Meaning, can you play Apple Music created playlists or is the issue solely with the playlists you've created?

Use that information along with the troubleshooting you've completed and then contact Apple Support directly: Get Support

Wishing you well, take care.
