System Preferences >> Keyboard >> " Text " tab and enable Auto Correct

Check in System Preferences >> Languages & Regions. Is it set correctly to what Region is chosen.
Question if I may - this 3P App, what is that ?
Is one switching Languages frequently on the OS or visiting websites is some other language and omitting to switch the OS language settings to match.
thanks. yep this is already enabled. v strange, it was working fine before (and autocorrect just worked fine here!) so it's specific to some sites..
ah sorry I'm using the wrong terminology, I just meant Yahoo Mail. No I only use English. I did just try switching from Spelling: Automatic by language to British English, but still the same error
