Thanks for clarifying your question. I understand it better now. I am assuming that you were connecting to CarPlay successfully in the past with the same iPhone. Can you check to see whether you have iOS version 15.1 installed or not? Open Settings ➔ General ➔ About ➔ Software Version.
Finally, Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Thanks Axel. I’m just wondering why my iPhone 11 with new OS15 version can’t connect to my Fortuner CarPlay. I also can’t connect using Miracast. The technician using iPhone 10 automatically connects to with the car’s CarPlay.
CarPlay is not an app on your iPhone. CarPlay is automatically activated when your iPhone is connected to a CarPlay compatible car/auto.
