Question

do not disturb focus is performing incorrectly

is anyone else having an issue with the focus modes. specifically do not disturb. i have do not disturb set up and i have my email (spark) and snapchat notifications still bypass it (along with other apps) and for some reason my email and snapchat notifications are the only ones that only go to my phone. on the watch they stay silent. but still appear in the notification center. if i turn do not disturb off they come through. ive checked all notification settings and everything is where it should be.just wondering if anyone else has this issue, and or a way to fix it. thank you in advance!

In that case, also make sure that wrist detection is enabled. Check out the 'Lock Automatically' section of Lock or unlock Apple Watch if needed. If wrist detection is off, that might be why notifications aren't being delivered.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly you have Focus set to allow notifications for Snapchat and your email for both devices but you only receive those notifications on your iPhone. Right?

You've tried some great steps so far. You may have previously reviewed Use Focus on Apple Watch and Use Focus on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. We also recommend checking out Notifications on your Apple Watch which may help explain what's happening. If your iPhone is unlocked, you will receive your notifications there. However, if your iPhone is locked or asleep, your notifications will show up on your Apple Watch.

yes, i’ve done that. everything is set to mirror my iphone.

and to clarify: when my phone is locked and asleep, those two apps still only go to the phone. not on the watch. and the watch is on my wrist and unlocked as well.

it is enabled… it’s only spark and snapchat. everything else comes as normal. everything is up to date as well.
