Partitioned internal hard drive backup
Hi there
My iMac's internal hard drive is partitioned. How do I setup time machine backup for both these. I do not see my "DATA" drive in the excluded list (only the external hard drives). Please help

What version OS? Depending on OS, If you're seeing Macintosh HD and Macintosh HD - Data in Disk Utilities that's correct. TimeMachine will get both "partitions" as the - Data one is your user data that is segregated by design from your operating system to limit access to the system.
In the above example, I renamed the drive for identity purposes, but this is the correct configuration.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Your internal drive should not be partitioned. Please go to Disk Utility, and select "View" > "Show All Devices". Select each device (or entry shown), and take a screenshot of it and upload them all here.
