iPhone 12 Pro stolen

My iPhone 12 Pro was stolen yesterday and when I logged in with my iCloud on an iPhone 8, I saddly observe that from 12000 pictures only 3500 I have now, is there something I can do to recover all my pictures?

'If you're missing photos or videos in the Photos app' on a mobile device, click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT205912

- Check your Recently Deleted folder

- Make sure that iCloud Photos is turned on

- Sign in with the same Apple ID

- Unhide your photos

If you were not using iCloud photos to sync your photographs on your iPhone 12 then they may still be stored as part of a backup. You can restore the backup ( https://support.apple.com/HT204184 ) to recover the photos but doing this will require erasing your device and restoring everything back to the time when you made that backup.
