Transcend JetDrive disconnects after Monterey update

I have Transcend JetDrive 256 GB inserted in SD card slot on my MacBook Pro 13" Retina early 2015 to extend my 500GB SSD capacity. I had no issue whatsoever until I updated Mac OS to Monterey. Since than, my MacBook disconnects the drive from time to time while saying something like "Transcend was not disconnected properly". Then I either have restart the MacBook or re-insert the JetDrive. The problem repeats. I reinstalled Mac OS due to other issues recently but the problem is still there. Any idea, what could I do to make it work seamlessly again?
