I have iPhone 6. Have not been updated since 12. Is there something i can do or do I need a new phone?

The iPhone 6 cannot be updated or upgraded past iOS 12.5.5.

It simply doesn’t have the necessary hardware for iOS 13 or beyond.

That phone is obsolete. It is not capable of running a later version of iOS.

It's time to upgrade.
