So sorry to hear that you have a charge that you did not approve of.

I would start by reviewing your purchase history for the charge > https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204088

If you located the charge and it ends up being a subscription, you can manage your subscriptions in your settings and cancel it. When you cancel the subscription, it does remain active until the next billing cycle and if you decide to resubscribe in the future you will be in eligible for any future free trials or offers and the pricing may vary.

How to cancel a subscription > https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

Please note thats if you did not cancel the free trial or subscription at least 24 hours before renewal date, you will be charged.

If you are not able to locate the charge in your purchase history, please check everyones purchase history in your household.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201382 > If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement

If you do locate the charge, you can process your own refund request on reportaproblem.apple.com

Please take note that it may take up to 48 hours before Apple makes a decision on your eligibility for the refund, and if you are eligible it can take up to 30 days to get the money back. IF it is a subscription, it will end on or 48 hours after the approval date. If your refund is not approved, it will remain active until the next billing cycle but will not renew on you. If you decide to resubscribe in the future you will be in eligible for any future free trials or offers and the pricing may vary. You can always check the status of that refund request on reportaproblem.apple.com and also do future refund request on there was well.

hope this helps

its not about the fingerprint. It's about your payment method. Anyone can add your payment method to their device/ apple id if they have the information for your card.

You also could have had an unpaid order on your Apple ID.

Have you recently updated your payment method and then all of a sudden charged?

if so, that means there was a billing issue with your card, and once you updated it or funds we're put on the payment method on file, then it charged you even though you cancelled.

if there was a billing issue, and you cancelled the subscription that will not remove the unpaid balance that is due.

Im so sorry, I understand how frustrating this can be.

Have you checked all devices purchase history in the house?

I would contact Apple Support if you have exhausted all those steps above.

Apple will review your account and if they can't find it, they may ask for your credit card information to pull up the charge that way.

If they locate the charge on a unrelated account, they will not be able to tell you any information about the charge or who that account holder is.
