I have removed every single "Vuze" related file from my computer but I still can't remove this icon from my launchpad. Does anyone know how to remove this? When I tap on it nothing happens.

After you deleted "~/Library/Application Support/Dock/desktoppicture.db" did you run this Terminal command before you restarted your Mac?
defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool true; killall Dock
That means Vuze was not downloaded from the App Store.

Does this show up in the applications folder in Finder? If it does then try to use "AppCleaner" to remove.
Hold down the control key while clicking on it in the Dock, then click Options and click Remove from Dock.
Open Launchpad, hold the option key, then click the x on the top left of the Vuze icon.
For anyone curious, I finally found the file that caused this problem. By default, the OS doesn't search for files that are part of the system files. In order to see everything, you will have to make sure you are searching for the system files as well. I have attached the screenshot for anyone who want to see how this is being done.
If I hold down the control key while selecting the Launchpad icon in the dock, it opens up the menu of all the applications for me, including the one i want to remove. How do I select the application I want to remove from that menu? I still want to access the launchpad from the dock itself.
I tried to go into the hidden library folder and remove all the files related to "Vuze" and "azureus" and it still didn't work. I also tried to wipe all the db files from Library/Application support/Dock and that didn't work as well. I restarted my computer to verify but it's still there
There is no x icon when i hold onto the option key. i see it in some other applications though.

Yep. I did and I restarted my computer, but that icon still sticks like a fly. 🥺
Are you using Time Machine? The only thing I can think of is Vuze is backed up there.
I do have Time Machine but I haven’t been connecting it for days (i know… my bad) so it shouldn’t be an issue.
Did you turn Time Machine off? If not, it will still create local snapshots which could be where Vuze is "hiding".
I didn’t turn Time Machine off in the settings but if the hard drive isn’t connected shouldn’t be doing nothing?
