Hi, I recently found out my friend could activate my PHS on my iPhone from the Lock Screen. His Samsung phone already knew my SSID and password from previous times, but it bothers me he can activate my PHS from my Lock Screen without unlocking the phone.
is this normal?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you have a friend who is able to join your Personal Hotspot. This can be prevented by checking out the steps in this article for How to set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone or iPad and either turn off Allow Other to join, or change the password to access to Hotspot.

Change the passcode to your personal hotspot and he won't be able to access it.

My friend connecting to my PHS is not really a problem for me, but that he can do it without me knowing it.
on my previous android phone I had to first unlock the phone before I could turn on/off anything, including hotspot. On iPhone everyone can mess with my control panel without unlocking it.
