Logic crashes when i use Native Instruments Intakt

I too, have this problem with NI's plugins. I do not own Intakt. Everything current. Quite frustrating. Windows drawing and resizing is often a culprit, but there are others

hmmmm, i haven't found that to be the case in a really long time with any of the NI stuff, including intakt. update to 7.1.1, install the apple pro app update, and try isolating the problem by disabling all of your other third party plugs and then see how intakt behaves. I can't remember the last time something from NI crashed Logic.

Agreed. I use Kontakt and Kompakt quite a lot, and they never crashed Logic. J g1 is right: update Logic to version 7.1.1, install the last Apple Pro update and see how things work. Also access NI web site and grab Kontakt's latest version.

I use intakt in logic without any problems.

If you're using panther there's a fix for intakt over at NI.

I have everything up to date, I can get Reaktor 5 to crash Logic within a minute (not ensemble specific). Disabling all other AUs, though this was originally about Intakt. Guitar Rig is much more stable-I use both of these on every session.

I have Garritan Personal Orchestra, which runs through a version of NI Kompakt. It was also crashing Logic 7.1. I went to the GPO forum and was told that the problem was that I was trying to load mono samples. When I started to choose stereo instead, everything is fine. Apparently NI is the problem.

I don't know if that helps, but it's worth a try.
