battery capacity reduced

am receiving message that the battery capacity is significantly reduced -- any suggestions??

MacBook Air 11″, macOS 10.12

Reduction of battery capacity over time is normal and expected. All batteries eventually have to be replaced.


If the MacBook Air is still considered serviceable by Apple, you can locate an Apple Authorized Service Provider and ask about battery replacement. If the Mac is vintage or obsolete, you still may have luck getting replacement at your AASP.


Otherwise, you might approach any tech service shop and ask if they can do the job or recommend a place to do it.
