Welcome to Apple Support Communities. You would like to make sure that your Smart Keyboard that you use with your current iPad Pro will work for iPad 5th generation. Right?
It sounds like you're using the Smart Keyboard Folio. If so, this keyboard will work with the iPad Pro 12.9-inch 5th generation as well as the iPad Pro 12.9-inch 4th generation. Check out Select iPad Keyboards.
