Log in password is no more working.
I logged in my iMac successfully with a password,which is no more working.What is the reason & what to do.

Two Things:
A. Boot in Safe Mode:
In Safe Mode, Login Items do not run at login, certain preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are then reset. So, once booted in to Safe Mode, wait 30 seconds, and then boot up normally, seeing if this is gone. For instructions, go here: How to Use Safe Mode on your Mac - Apple Support
If No Success...
B. Reset Using the Login Screen:
Reset it using the login screen. You'd go through your Apple ID to perform this. Find out more here: If you Forgot your Mac Login Password - Apple Support
