Erase All Content
Hi,
If I use the new "Erase All Content & Settings" feature in Monterey, will it then overwrite the data on my Mac, so that it's safe to sell the MacBook afterwards without risking that the data can be recovered?
Kind regards

Thanks! So just to clarify: Since my MacBook is an Intel-Macbook from 2018, the answer is no, its not safe to use the "Erase All Content & Settings". I should use this instead: https://support.apple.com/HT208496
it would be best to follow the steps in this article>> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac - Apple Support
EDIT: look closely at step 1
