So I’m now not able to download kindle unlimited titles on my iPhone using the kindle app. I went to Amazon support and they told me due to IOS I’m no longer able to download anything including kindle unlimited books through the app. I have to use a web browser which is frustrating. Any one else having this issue?

Amazon is totally responsible for how their app works.
They don’t allow buying content in any of their apps because they don’t want to pay Apple the fees associated with doing so.
Amazon has decided that you can only select items to download to the Kindle app by going through their website.
You can't buy (or select in the case of Kindle Unlimited) anything through the Kindle app on an iOS device. However, once you've bought it through the browser on your phone, you can access it through the app. I do it this way all the time.
Just tested it. I selected a Kindle Unlimited book from Safari on my iPhone. It showed up instantly in the Kindle app on my iPhone.
Yeah I get that Amazon doesn’t want to pay Apple the fee and I guess kindle unlimited is now included in that. It’s just frustrating that even yesterday I was able to download kindle unlimited books within the app because it’s technically “free” and today I can’t. Thanks for the input.
There is no issue, that’s how the kindle app has always worked.
So I’m not really sure what you mean. I’ve always been able to download kindle unlimited book titles within the kindle app. It was today that I started having issues.
I’ve tried the browser on my phone (safari and chrome) and it isn’t working. I’m not technically trying to buy anything.
