I mailed a check to payoff my balance, it was received November 24th, 2021 per tracking, it’s been 16 days and it has not posted. Called twice already to inquire about status and I’m told to call back in a few days. How long does it take to post payment?
Hi, that could be the issue. The check will need to be made out to Goldman Sachs Bank. The Apple Card MasterCard is a co-branded credit card. However, only banks can issue credit cards and Apple is not a bank. They partnered with Goldman Sachs Bank to issue and service the Apple Branded credit card.
Apple can’t cash/credit the check to your account and neither can Goldman Sachs. I would call Goldman Sachs tomorrow at the number below and explain the error and see how Goldman Sachs wants to handle the situation.

Hi, in the past I’ve been told 10 business days for a payment by check or money order to be credited to your account. So, holidays and weekends don’t count. By my count you’re really only 8 business days in.
But I get near instant credit to my account by following the instructions in the link that askbarnabas provided above.
This is a user to user forum. The preferred method of payment is by using the iPhone Wallet app or by going to card.apple.com as described in this link - How to make Apple Card payments. mailing a payment in runs the risk of it not being accepted in time or rejected.
I normally pay by my IPhone, but I refinance my home and paid off some consumer debt, check was made to Apple, I wasn’t able to deposit it into my account or pay by phone. I called and was instructed to send to the address in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. It was received on the 24th of November. So I will call again Friday if not posted.
