no user Library on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7?

Prepping computer to migrate from Catalina 10.15.7 to Monterey on new machine. Just noticed there is no Library folder for this user on the Catalina machine. Not sure why this is. This machine had been migrated several years ago from another Mac, could have frogged up then?

It does seem to be possible any more in macOS Monterey. An option would be to display all hidden folders (Command + Shift + .) but this would clutter the Desktop and Finder with all the hidden folders (and there are quite a few.)

I chatted with Apple support. It is possible. Place your user (the one with your name in the Users folder) in Favorites in the left sidebar. Select it there. In the View menu (top of screen), select Show View Options. Select the box Show Library Folder. Voilà!
