I was just wondering if I bought a new phone on contract, can I put a bigger deposit down to begin to lower the monthly payments?

How are you wishing to buy on contract? Generally when you mention on contract you are referring to going through your carrier. If you have an Apple Card, they allow you a 24 month finance without interest. You would have to ask if you can put down a larger down payment to use their no interest payment programs.

The only way to do it through Apple is if you have an Apple Card, and it is for 24 months. If you have questions about that, you will need to contact Apple.
