Disable Split Screen
I’ve just updated to 15.1. There are a number of issues I have with Safari. The one that bugs me most is the Split Screen, I don’t need it, I don’t want it!
Question How do I COMPLETELY disable this feature

Split and Slide-over views are a feature of iPadOS multitasking - and cannot be disabled in iPadOS15.

I’m surprised it can’t be disabled
Can I disable it each time I fire up Safari. This is important to me as I don’t have complete over my hand and to be honest I’d have thought that Apple outdated have thought of this when designing Safari
To reiterate, multitasking is core element of iPadOS - and cannot be disabled.
While you can’t disable this functionality, you don’t have to use split or slide-over views at all. More information about using (and therefore avoiding use of) multi-tasking can be found in this support page:
