I can't update my MacBook

How can I update my MacBook? Every time I try to update it says lost internet connection but I check the internet and it is connected with full bars to the internet. Please help me this is really frustrating. It is affecting my applications.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

Try your update while in Safeboot mode...

SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262



verify you are using the Safari browser to download/initiate the macOS links.
