Sudden storage free up

Hi im using iphone11 and just wondering is it normal for your iphone to suddenly free up storage by alot. Before i updated to ios 14 my iphone storage was at 58gb/128gb. Few month later i check and now it’s only consuming 9.6gb ?? like whats the sudden drop. I’ve check my icloud it’s only consuming 14gb. And my iphone can’t seems to finish calculating the storage like it takes forever i’ve restart my phone still same recalculating non stop. Any explanation? or is it just faulty storage or normal ? do i need to check with my apple specialist?
