my first back up to brand new drive produced this error":“/Library/Application Support/ApplePushService/aps.db-shm” could not be backed up.

What does that error mean? Is it important. I just chatted with apple support with little resolution .

Is it a Monterey issue?

any help appreciated.

thanks

Can you clarify if there is an associated issue...?

or

simply the error was presented, if no issue you can safely ignore the dialogue /cruft.

First, thanks for your reply.

The chat support suggested that I run first aid on the new external.

I got this message:

Checking file system and repairing if necessary and if possible.

Volume was successfully unmounted.

Performing fsck_apfs-y-x/dev/rdisk4s2

error: container /dev/rdisk4 is mounted.

File system check exit code is 65.

Restoring the original state found as mounted.

File system verify or repair failed. : (-69845)

I have NO idea what this means......

I am sorry I upgraded to Monterey........
