Profiles/MDM

I keep getting a popup message indicating that Profiles/MDM wants to make changes to my MacBookPro. I do not understand what this is and cannot find much online to explain. Can anyone help me know if I should allow this. Thank you!!

The device is bound to Enterprise, JAMF, MDM, active directory list —You will need to contact the owner/admin to update/upgrade or de-provision the device.

So you bought this Mac second hand ...?

or

it is own by your company...?

Mobile Device Management means some one else has admin rights and controls your computer not you.

Your Mac was not properly prepared for resale: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac
