my Iphone 10R will not charge it seems like the charging port on the phone has a short

Whats the best way to troubleshoot the charging port possibly shorting out or needing cleaned?

A short circuit would be serious and may overheat or blow the charging brick

For open circuit, check with a flashlight and remove any debris with a wood cocktail stick

After that arrange a repair

Anything other than Screen or Battery eg the lightning socket may be a replacement phone and the price is in the article.
