Can’t set song as an alarm

when I create an alarm in the clock app, it does not allow me to use a song as the alarm.

It allows me to select it as the sound to play, yet when the alarm goes off no song plays, it just simply vibrates.

i have restarted my iPhone, deleted and recreated the alarm several times, I made sure that the song is downloaded locally on my device from my Apple Music, and yet nothing seems to work.

However, as soon as I switch the sound back to one of the presets everything works just fine.
