How to fix a DECLINED PAYMENT METHOD?

I have added multiple and valid payment methods for my apple id. Recently, today evening, the card was charged for an icloud upgradation but for any other app or purchases, right after 3 or 4 hrs, the same card is being rejected. Need to resolve this issu
