New iPhone showing wrong email address which does not have an apple id

I have bought a new iPhone and have transferred all data but I can't log on to apple as the phone is using the wrong email address. It one of my addresses but when I use it it tells me that there is no Apple ID attached to it. I want to change it to the one I am using here but I can't see how to change it?

On your new iPhone, if the device is already set up, you can go to Settings > tap your name at the top > scroll down and tap on "Sign Out." Follow the prompts that appear to successfully sign out and then you can sign in with the correct Apple ID account by following these steps: Sign in with your Apple ID
