My iPad airdrop is always turning off within the settings but in the slide down menu, it’s always on. I am unable to see anyone, send anything. My iOS is up to date. I’ve tried turning off airdrop, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and resetting. Nothing works

I’ve tried all of what that article has said to do. The issue is still the same. Each time I swipe down to control centre, airdrop is on everyone, I change it to off or contacts only and it defaults to everyone. But, in settings, it’s on off and won’t allow me to change it as it defaults back to off
