my apple tv won't take my password and locked me out. my password works on my other devices and I don't want to change it. how do I get into my Apple tv?

my Apple tv locked me out because it did not recognize my password. my password works on mynother devices. why doesn't it work on my tv and do I have to reset?

Try unplugging the Apple TV from it's power source for 2-3 minutes, then re-plug in and re-test.
