Apple Watch not announcing miles, pace, distance on a walk/jog

In settings make sure you have voice feedback turned on.

In Settings on the watch go to workout and turn on voice feedback

I have my voice feedback turned on, however, I am not getting the haptic feedback?

seems to be hit and miss i cant get it to work at all now series 6 only a year old
