Would autocorrect make your grammar wrong?

A friend keeps arguing with me about this, so let's say I typed "You're doing good" which is grammatically correct, it would keep it right? But my friend reckons if he uses 'you're' correctly that autocorrect makes it incorrect by changing it to 'your'. Would autocorrect do this?

Hello Gunmoon80,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you'd like to know if Auto-Correction can incorrectly auto-correct words. We can help provide you additional information.

Auto-Correction uses your keyboard dictionary to spell check words as type, automatically correcting misspelled words for you. That information is outlined in this article: How to use Auto-Correction and predictive text on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Best regards.
