Connecting my Apple Watch to the new iPhone

My iPhone has crashed and can no longer be repaired and my Apple Watch is connected to it, I bought a new iPhone but I forgot the iCloud of my old device and I want to connect it to my new device but it will only connect when I turn on the old iCloud, please help and provide appropriate solutions, thanks ( My phone is iPhone 12 and my watch is version 6.)

You can ask apple to remove the activation lock online on this page;

Online Activation Lock Removal Tool.

Or this;

If you can't remember/gain access to the apple id that paired the watch to the phone.Take the watch and it's receipt along with some photo id and any other proof of ownership to an Apple Store and request that they remove the Activation Lock for you.
