App Store Login Loop

Just purchased brand new MacBook, new app store account. I go to sign in, asks me to review my account. asks me to sign in, then asks me to review account again, looping endlessly. Tried doing this on music app, but it send me to "we've encountered an error, try again later" how do I fix this?

I fixed this issue by signing out of my Apple ID on the main settings screen and signing back in, followed by retrying the App Store which worked.
