How do I turn off focus? It says it is off in settings, but the crescent moon and "ckonks has notifications silenced" is still being sent to my text recipients. How can I just turn it off or get rid of the whole "focus" option? I think I'm still hearing notifications, but I'm worried I am missing some messages and notifications.

Open Settings ➔ Focus: Here you will see multiple Focus Settings options. Click on each one of those and ensure that that all of them are set to OFF. The setting to turn these OFF is on the very top line.
