Random IPhone Restarts

Hello, so my IPhone 12 Mini is giving me an “Important Battery Notice” in my settings app, also randomly in no specific apps nor after a specific amount of time, my phone will just freeze and restart. After restarting it will say that my battery is nearly dead but no percentage. The notice in my settings also says that my phone can’t read the battery or something. Side note: today was the first occurrence and after a few hours of inactivity my phone was working normally for about an hour.

You may have a poor battery condition which cannot provide sufficient power for peak performance. What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings ➔ Battery ➔ Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity shows a value of 80% or less, then it has gone through its lifecycle and therefore should be replaced, according to Apple.

I am unable to see what my battery health is because underneath it says “Your IPhone is unable to determine battery health” and last I checked it was around 90% or so and I got my phone about a year ago.

Have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and resolution.
