My airpods has static and crackling sound, what do i do?

same problem with my pair of AirPods....and so dissappointed with apple on how they handled this issue. they admit they have problems with units made before October 2020 but are very picky to replace items with this problem. I will advise people to stay away from the AIR PODS PRO. never again.
