Slow MacBook 2020 pro 2,3 Ghz Intel Core i7 quadra core 16 Go RAM

Hello,

I bought a 2020 MacBook pro 2,3 Ghz Intel Core i7 quadra core 16 Go RAM 1 To ssd drive a year ago and have been underwhelmed by its performance ever since I got it. The whole experience is quite sluggish, even comparing to my previous experience of a souped up 2012 MacBook Pro with an ssd and extra RAM.

To get the context I work in interior architecture and use the adobe suite as well as sketchup and AutoCAD. And the use of those apps is really not thrilling. Regular pinwheels, apps crashing for simple stuff, sometimes certain actions being downright impossible with systematic crash.

To give an example sometimes just using the magic wand in photoshop causes a pinwheel, or indesign being always kinda sluggish. Even the boot up fo the computer seems overly long or just opening files in AutoCAD is slow.

I've done all the solutions suggested by apple customer service (I can't remember all of them, but they range to Vram reboot to complete reboot of computer with Manuel resetting of each file). I brought it to the App Store who said it might be the motherboard but after checks said everything is fine. I've tried micromanaging file size, RAM usage, having only one app open at all times but with no success. Even when doing a screen share with customer service they were puzzled by the general sluggishness of the Mac.

Has anyone had similar experience with this model ? What solutions did you find ? Thanks.
