I don't have a device icon on my itunes. How do I find my ipad to reset it?

My itunes account doesnt have the device icon.

Locked out of new ipad and itunes on my pc can not find it. I read all instructions to reset put nothing is working

Some things you can try.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch *

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device. -

If necessary

Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

Restore to Factory setting. *

Restore - If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. *

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup. *
