Apple One Cloud storage

Hello, Apple One says that you get 200gb of cloud data storage across everyone’s device that you add (up to five family members) but does this mean everyone gets 200gb or it’s 200gb split across everyone… and does everyone share the same cloud so I can see everyone else’s data, or do we have our own…

It’s not clear

Everyone gets to use as much as they want up to the limit of the iCloud Storage plan - which in your case is 200GB - but each member can see only their iCloud Drive files, iPhone backups, iCloud photos, and Messages. If you want to regulate the amount each family member uses that is a local decision for your own household.

What is Family Sharing? describes how families share "Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Fitness+, Apple News+, and Apple Arcade. Your group can also share iTunes, Apple Books, and App Store purchases, and a family photo album. You can even help locate each other’s missing devices."

What you may find over time is that you will need to upgrade to a bigger plan.

It's perfectly clear if you read the description.

Share iCloud+ with your family

When you share an iCloud+ subscription, everyone in the family group uses their own account. That way your photos, documents, and other information stay private, even though you're sharing access to the service. You simply share the features and space available in iCloud+ with your family members, so you only have one plan to manage.
