Bluetooth issues with new iPhone 13 Pro

Recently changed my phone from an iPhone XS to the new iPhone 13 pro. Really impressed with the phone but and a big but. The Bluetooth no longer works with my car. I have been using iPhones for years with my car with no issues but the iPhone 13pro. It connects and works with one call and then freezes the whole thing in my car. My Wife’s iPhone 8 still works, Samsung S20 and iPhone XS all still work. It appears that lots of people are having similar issues and I have tried everything possible but no no avail. After spend some much money on this new phone and now can’t use it hands free any others improvements are insignificant. My car is old it’s a Volvo V70 but all other phones work with it?
