I am looking for a Thunderbolt 3 to Firewire 800 adapter. Who makes it?

I want to transfer information from my 2011 MacBook Pro to my 2021 MacBook Pro over a secure connection rather than over WiFi.

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

You can use an Apple USB-C to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter combined with an Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter. You will also need a Firewire cable to connect these adapters to the 2011 laptop.

Another option would be to remove the drive from the 2011 laptop and use a USB3 to SATA Adapter, drive dock, or enclosure. However, macOS Monterey seems have issues with many USB3 chipsets used in USB3 devices so it is hard to say which ones will work.
