I’m thinking about buying airpod 3 but have read people have trouble with them not staying in what is the return policy in this situation?

Returning a HomePod after the 14 day return window. It is awful. It took me about 20 days to figure out that this device is just awful. It absolutely creates more headaches than it's worth. Unfortunately, I'm about a week past the 14 day return window... is there anything to do about this?
