MacBook Air M1 FaceTime occasionally blurry

Anyone else with this prob: after updating (to Monterey) FaceTime calls (most of the time) extremely blurry. Note: same wifi/internet speed, same well lit environment, calling the same persons who have high speed internet.....etc.

Signed out of FaceTime and signed back in. First FaceTime call after signing back in clear; five minutes later when calling the same person FaceTime returned to its "blurriness."

Teams, google meet, zoom not blurry, only FaceTime.

P.S. tried erasing all content and settings and starting "all over" as with a brand new MacBook.....didnt resolve the issue.
